Many producers of the cotton gloves apply a latex coating onto their items. It enables to prevent dust and other contaminants penetrating, to protect skin from damage at contact with sharp or spiny items, and against other negative factors impact.

A protective layer is created by the method of sinking the gloves being put on the special metal moulds down into a container with liquid latex. After getting dry latex cures and effectively performs its functions.

Applying the latex coating is an automated process. However, it has to be stopped because of material sticking onto the metal mould surface.

As a result of this, it is very hard to take the gloves off the equipment, and the moulds need to be cleaned manually from the stuck material.

To solve this and alike issues a line of MODENGY coatings having anti-adhesive properties has been developed.

MODENGY 1007 and MODENGY PTFE-A20 products are applied onto the moulds to create a latex layer on the cotton gloves.

They form a resistant separating film on the parts that prevents direct contact between latex and the moulds solving the issue of sticking.

These coating are applied onto the preliminary prepared surface of the elements. MODENGY 1007 polymerizes at heating in a kiln, MODENGY PTFE-A20 does at room temperature.

Due to use of MODENGY anti-adhesive coatings, a number of defective items at applying latex onto the gloves decreases, need in unscheduled stops of the equipment for cleaning from the material residues gets to minimum, service lifetime of the parts extends.
