Plastic trays packaging is performed in the end-soldering apparatuses – tracilers. Polymer material provides containers tightness to prevent contact of their content with ambience.
Film fixing on the top part of the container is done with matrices made exactly for tray dimensions. Heated tools melt packaging film, and make a strong seam.
Automatic machines provide fast and easy trays end-soldering, however their operating is often interrupted to clean the matrices. In process of melting, the film sticks onto the parts, and carbon deposit is formed on their surface after long functioning.
As a result of this, quality of the created seam worsens, and amount of defective items increases while productivity of the equipment and its service lifetime reduce.
As a separating material preventing melted polymer from sticking MODENGY 1007 anti-adhesive coating is applied onto surface of the end-soldering matrices.
It works out effectively on the heating elements functioning at temperatures up to +350 °С. The wear-resistant layer serves as a barrier between the matrix metal surface and polymer material due to what their direct contact is excluded, and the issue of sticking and carbon deposit is solved.
MODENGY 1007 is applied by standard painting methods on the stage of parts production, and polymerizes at room temperature. After using this coating, matrices need no maintenance, service life of the product is equal to the equipment service lifetime.
