Hydraulic hammer is a striking device of specialty machinery that is used to crush solid rocks, to open up asphalt-and-concrete covers, to loosen the ground, and for other constructing and dismantling works.

The basic working tool of the hydraulic hammer is the pick which directly impact to the object to be destructed. What gives motion to this part is the striking part – the piston that goes up and down within the case.

The striking part starts operating due to oil feed from the hydraulic system. Tightness of the structure is provided with the polymer sealing elements.

While moving, the piston contacts with the internal surface of the case what causes premature wear of the seals, the system loses it impenetrability, and operating of the hydraulic hammer gets broken. As a result of this, the equipment has to be disassembled to replace the damaged components, and the whole machinery has to stay idle.

To extend service lifetime of the striking device, MODENGY 1014 and MODENGY PTFE - A20 anti-friction solid-film coatings are applied onto the surface of the striking part. They prevent corrosion of the tool, and reduce friction of the mated parts.

Due to application of these materials, term of failure-free operating of the hydraulic hammers extends.
