One of the most modern and highly productive methods of shoe sole production is molding them of various polymer materials. Polyvinylchloride (PVC) or polyurethane having good operational characteristics are often used for this purpose.

The molding process consists of the following basic stages:

  • Melting polymer till a viscous state
  • Filling in the molds with the substance by pressing
  • Cooling the equipment till the item get cured completely (this stage duration depends on the material type, initial temperature, and other parameters)
  • Taking the finished soles out of the molds
In process of producing, the melted polymer material can stick onto the surface of the molds, and as a result of this carbon deposits form which make taking the finished soles out of the molds hard, and as consequence the items with various defects appear.

In order to prevent stickingviscous substance, MODENGY 1007 solid-film coating is applied onto the equipment parts. It forms a strong layer on the parts that has anti-adhesive and non-stick properties.

This product is applied by painting method, and polymerized at heating in the kiln up to +200 °С within 20 minutes. It operates effectively at up to +350 °С, is resistant towards short-time overheatings.

Molds for making shoe soles

Thanks to using MODENGY 1007, quality of the shoe soles improves, time losses for equipment downtimes to clean up its parts from the stuck polymers reduce, reliable, trouble-free operating of the production line is provided.
