The elements of the offshore platform pipeline fittings function under conditions of the destructing marine climate, and so need reliable protecting against corrosion and other damages.
MODENGY 1005 coating is applied onto the threaded areas of the parts. It reduces friction, prevents scuffing and damages at multiple screwing and unscrewing the connections, protects against corrosion, and effects of the chemically aggressive medium.
This product form a dry wear resistant layer on the thread that doesn’t contribute to dust sticking and abrasive wear of the mechanisms, and has a long service lifetime under conditions of marine climate.
