MODENGY 1005 anti-friction solid-film coating based on molybdenum disulfide and graphite is applied onto the couplings and nipples of the drilling pipes to prevent thread galling, and scuffing during their screwing together/ unscrewing. Friction of the contacting surfaces reduces, and protection against corrosion is provided for a long while.

MODENGY 1005 is resistant towards wear, withstands multiple mounting and dismantling of the thread retaining constant friction coefficient.
