Being operated outdoors and exposed to chemically aggressive media, the flange connecting pipes of the gas main lines are subjected to corrosion damage.
In order to provide long protection against atmospheric and chemical corrosion, MODENGY 1014 anti-friction solid-film coating based on molybdenum disulfide and polytetrafluorethylene is applied onto the parts.
It also prevents scuffing from forming on the threaded surfaces, provides standard mounting and dismantling of the connections in process of maintaining them.
