MODENGY 1007 and MODENGY 1066 are applied onto the thrust slide bearings of the diesel engine turbine compressors of diesel locomotives.

These coatings based on the solid lubricating materials reduce friction and wear at the turbine compressors start and stop moments. When there is lack of oil in the friction units, they operate as anti-emergency agents.  This enables to prolong service lifetime of the heavy-loaded bearings.
