The cover forms the end wall of the vane pump working cavity. When the rotor is rotating, the plates are sliding along its inner side dividing the cavity into chambers where suction and discharge of the liquid is taking place.
Covers wearing causes increase of operating gaps and internal flow-overs that decreases productivity of the pump.
In order to reduce friction and wear, MODENGY 1014 anti-friction coating is applied onto the work surfaces of the covers. It helps keep the operating gap, and protects the parts against corrosion.
Use of the coating enables to cut down internal flow-overs, to maintain productivity of the pump, and to extend its service lifetime.
