Gate valves are intended to shut off the flows of working media in pipelines. When they are used in a corrosive marine environment, the fasteners are exposed to corrosive factors which can make it difficult to dismantle the threaded connections during maintenance.
We have applied MODENGY 1014 anti-friction coating onto the bolts preliminary treated by phosphating. It reduces friction at fastener gripping and following unscrewing, provides corrosion resistance complementing the protective properties of the phosphate layer.
Such treatment helps to ensure the possibility of dismantling these connections, and to makes maintenance of the gate valves easier.
