The edge-soldering jaws to pack wet wipes form a transverse seam on a polymer package, and operate under conditions of continuous heating. In process of edge-soldering, melted material is sticking onto the jaws work area surfaces which causes carbon deposits forming, worsening seam quality, and need in periodic cleaning of the equipment.
In order to prevent polymer from sticking-on, MODENGY 1007 anti-adhesive coating is applied onto the edge-soldering jaws. It forms a steady separating layer on the surfaces that prevents carbon deposits from forming and retaining its operability at up to +350 °С. The application of the coating contributes to stable operating of a packaging line, increasing package quality, and reducing downtimes of the equipment.
