The internal surface of the pneumatic cylinder liners constantly operates under conditions of increased loads and friction, that is why it is exactly what is subjected to wearing and corrosion in the first place.
To solve this issue, MODENGY 1014 anti-friction solid-film coating is applied onto the work surface of the liners. It forms a steady protective layer that prevents metal from coming into contact with moisture and chemically aggressive media, and thus, effectively protects the liners against corrosion damage, and keeps their performances.
An additional effect is provided by content of PTFE in the coating’s composition. Due to this, friction in the ‘liner - polymer rod’ pair reduces, movement gets smoother, while wearing of the components significantly reduces, even at intensive operating.
